I truly love the birdhouse! If only the birds did! They have not moved in yet. I have recommended it to several of my friends.
I bought this as a gift for an elderly couple that rarely have an opportunity to go outdoors and miss the songbirds that routinely nested on their property. Although spring has not yet arrived, the little house has seen some activity from passing birds wanting relief from the cold. The rugged wood construction and large suction cups have kept the house firmly in place and added rustic beauty to the window view. Shipping was very prompt and house arrived in perfect condition. I put the nest on my daughter's window and within 1 week, there was bird poop in the nest. It is January, but we are hoping a bird will nest there this spring. We keep the blinds over it so that the birds will not see people in the house, but we do check it occasionally. My family is very excited, but only time will tell whether a bird will nest there.
