Our son-in-law, who's extremely good at putting things together, put the birdhouse together for me. He said it took him 3 and a half hours. (That's the bad news.) The good news is that it's very well designed, extremely sturdy, and spacious. If I were a purple martin, I'd think I was in a 5-star luxury hotel.
