It took over a week for the birds to start using it, but once they discovered it, they're there all the time. The plastic is so easy to keep clean. It's nice to know this is the last bird feeder I'll have to buy in a long, long while.
An excellent product that should last a very long time (very sturdy and won't rot like wooden feeders). The birds started using it immediately and I love the fact it keeps the bird feed dry.
The item was even better than I expected!
It is a good product but it allows squirrels & other animals to crawl inside and prevent birds from getting there
I have bought several other feeders, suet holders made by Birds Choice and expected the same high and well made quality. Not the case with this very expensive feeder. The hanging cable is very thin and inferior for a feeder of this type and weight. I have a single tail prop suet feeder of Birds Choice that has a much stronger, thicker hanging cable compared to the very poor cable that came with this feeder. I sincerely hope that when this cable wears out, which it will, it will be replaced by Birds Choice with a higher quality one, at no cost to me, consistent with the hanging cables on their other feeders.
