i am pleased with this feeder. it performs as advertised. it definitely deters squirrels. i have yet to see a squirrel on it. i like the see thru aspect and the large volume reservoir for seed. i had a previous feeder just like this one that a Raccoon was able to access and break. i have moved the new one away from the tree and it seems to help.

I'm very satisfied this product and very stunning hanging up the tree infront of the lake.
If you want squirrel proof this is the feeder for you. It's fun to watch them slide off onto the ground! This is the best bird feeder I have ever owned. It's worth every penny!!!

We have finally "baffled" our squirrels! Great feeder. Holds lots of seed. But make sure you order the skirt if you pole mount. Our squirrels figured out how to climb the pole w/ in minutes. Vaseline took care of that ( and it was pretty funny to watch them slide), but who has time to grease a pole every day?
I like this feeder. If placed far enough from a limb, it DOES work as a squirrel deterrent!! (That is my number one goal in finding feeders these days.) It holds a good amount of food and the "roof" still allows birds of a certain size to get to their food. It is really fun to watch the squirrels try to gain traction and slip off.
Skyfeeder works well for bringing birds of cardinal size and smaller to the feeder. Squirrel proof top keeps squirrels from stealing the food. Overall good product.
