Hyde Easy Feeder

Very clear inserts to view how much seed is still in there...plenty of ports for several birds at a time, and easy to clean..also does not take up much space to hang.

I have no doubt that this is a great feeder although we haven't used it yet. We have one that the new one will replace that we bought 35 years ago and until it completely gives up the ghost my husband will not change. It is all ready to go when the time comes.

I purchased this feeder to replace an older but similar model multilevel feeder. This feeder surpassed my expectations. It is sturdy and lightweight, with a woven medal hanger that will outlast other hangers. I will purchase another one like this when I need another feeder.

We've used a squirrel's dilemma feeder for nearly 20 years! With a little mending, they have even survived bears. We are on #3 now! Love them!

I have had one for 10+ years and recently purchased one for my grandson. Very durable, no moving parts and replacement parts are available from the company!

Best--most durable, practical, and effective bird feeder ever-- BAR NONE ! This is our second one. The first continues to serve us after 15 + years. The second will occupy another space. Amazing, truly amazing in this day and age of early obsolescence and temporal design.

Great 'anti-squirrel' bird feeder. Only drawback might be the cylindrical tubes that the feed has to pass through to fill the bottom 2 seed holders....works great so far but as it gets older it might become hard to fill

This is a Great feeder, lasts quite a while, until I forget to bring it in and the bears get at it.

The Hyde bird feeders are the best we have ever owned!

I love this feeder! I had a previous version which had lasted for 15 years and finally fell victim to a bear! It is an excellent product and the birds love it! The squirrels hate it which works great for everyone!

It is squirrel proof, easy to replace the feed and lots of portals. There are no moving parts. What's not to love?

I like this because it is the only feeder I have found that dispenses seed at three levels no matter how empty the feeder is. The birds have more room on the feeder even when the seed supply is running low.

By far the best feeder ever made. My former Hyde Squirrel Dilemma bird feeder had to be replaced after 15 years because a bear crushed it. Otherwise it would still be functioning. Prior to this type feeder I had numerous others that just didn't keep the squirrels out. This is a great product!

They were just as I had expected - perfect! I use these feeders all over my yard, and while they do not deter squirrels, at least the little buggers can't break the feeder.

I really like this birdfeeder. It holds a lot of seed, and allows the woodpeckers and other clinging birds to feed. HOWEVER, unfortunately, the squirrels love this feeder too. It allows them to display their acrobatics, and hang upside down to fill their bellies.

The bird feeder is fine although it does not keep the squirrels away. Basically, I am happy with the feeder.

Unfortunately, I have been unable to keep the squirrels from using it. The birds seem to like it.

A good feeder. Only 2 criticisms: The top does not fit smoothly and the dividers make it a bit hard to fill.

It is difficult to get the seed to the middle and bottom compartments because the center tube does not release it into them. So it needs refilling more often because they only get half-full. Have 3 other Hyde feeders but they don't have a center tube. Excellent squirrel deterrent design and most birds seem to prefer this design over others I've tried.

This is a great feeder. All the song birds love it and it will hold large numbers of them. I had one before and it lasted many years.

I enjoyed the bird feeder very much! I have had this particular one for six years, but living in Rhode Island the weather has ruined the plastic feed holders. I would like to replace the plastic feeders. Are they available separately?

The feeder is wonderful...sturdy...and holds enough seed (and perches) for a great variety of my birds, from woodpeckers, to finches, rose-breasted grosbeaks, wrens and chickadees. Keeping the squirrels off of it has been a real challenge...but I believe, the large round piece of tin, I covered the pole with, has kept their little paws from getting a purchase on it, to climb up. I saw the feeder at a client's house and finally found you, on line. Thanks so much, it's the best feeder I've ever used!

This is a great feeder! I had one for about 5 years and now the plastic tubes are all cracked. I am looking for replacement tubes.

I had the same model for a few years before it fell in a storm and shattered the feed chamber. It is very easy to fill and the triple chamber allows birds to feed at three levels even as the seed is consumed. Even with a dome over the feeder, the squirrels still find a way to make a leap three feet from a limb and grab on to the protective grid and somehow empty the seed quickly. But other than not being able to totally solve the squirrel problem, I am very pleased with item.

The product that I received was not a Hyde feeder but it is similar and well made and cost much less. I like that it has internal dividers so all the feeding holes keep food till empty not just the bottom ones.

I have had great success with this feeder UNTIL a small chipmunk managed to get trapped in the internal clear plastic seed compartment. He was fully wedged in and I had to take apart the feeder and destroy the clear plastic seed tube to free him. I now have reservations about this feeder.

For the most part the feeder does its job. But I have two squirrels that have found the secret of climbing a greased pole and hang upside down from the feeder top frame and dig bird seed out of the bottom openings.

This feeder replaced an old Hyde feeder of the same design. The quality of this new feeder is less than I expected. It seems "cheaper" in it's manufacture. I will need to wait and see if it stands up to the elements.
