Large enough for many hummingbirds. We have 100+ hummingbirds visit our feeders every fall and we find these feeders are great at feeding the masses. Easy to clean, doesn't leak, and works great. We have many of these in our backyard and have had no problems with these feeders over the years. If you have plenty of hummingbirds, then you might consider moving up to the big gulp of feeders.
